Stand For Something

As an athlete who served 17 years coaching elite athletes, my appreciation of nurturing one’s well-being is intricately intertwined with an unfortunate awareness of the damaging chemicals to which we are, most often, unknowingly exposed. Uncovering why panic attacks had become so personally prevalent and why illness was becoming so commonplace for others were the driving forces behind my yearning to turn away from deceptive products on my skin, in my hair, on my clothes, in the air, and in my body. It was high time to uncover toxins in my home, which parlayed into creating an ingredient database to cross-check what seemed to be innocuous products. My findings left me troubled, disoriented, and disheartened. So began the calling of seeking truly, honestly clean brands. I am humble enough to accept that my knowledge will likely never be complete, nor will I be able to eradicate all things harmful, but, as the sum of all parts, my home will be a safer haven than if I did nothing at all. Not surprisingly, I have found greater peace and harmony in my well-being, and it is in my heart of hearts for you to find the very same.

In every sense of my spirit, I desire to share my discoveries with you. Having served in more accessible and visible career, it was a professional choice to forgo a digital media presence/footprint, alongside the fact that I positively have no affinity for it. By what means could I share then? LarkSpell, my friends. With our good Lord’s grace, this tech-averse girl secured a domain and designed her own website. It’s not a social platform with clicks and likes, but it’s organically me, humbly serving you. Pure and compelling, so shall a message take flight.
